Chinese characters. Two to four friends.

One tile.
Plans change.

You had 我上班: “I’m going to work.”
Then you drew 不: “not.”

Draw tiles, build Chinese phrases, and make your case. Three characters or more. Long sentences and a little wordplay are welcome.

Make your case

Since when does
your cat have a job?

You lay down 我家小猫也不想上班了: “My little cat doesn’t want to go to work anymore either.” Your friend looks at the tiles. Then at you. “It’s the shop’s lucky cat,” you explain. Fair enough? That’s for the table to decide.

An example we wrote for this game. A good explanation still needs a ruling.

What happens after you lay a phrase?

More than word-making

That discard?
I can use it.

  1. Say a lot. Don’t strand two tiles.

A phrase needs at least three characters. Lay a group early, or use all ten at once. You must leave either zero tiles or at least three in your hand; one or two left over won’t do.

  2. They just discarded the character you needed.

Claim it for a phrase with chi. Collect three identical characters for peng, or four for gang. Someone calls a win? That gets checked first.

  3. A leak in the roof. Or a new pet.

我家有小雨 says there’s a little rain at home. With homophones enabled, 雨 (yǔ, rain) can stand for 鱼 (yú, fish). Same sound, different tone, much cheaper repairs. The interpretation still needs approval.

Here’s where we are.

Friend rooms and offline bot practice are implemented. Windows and macOS builds are in private testing. There’s no public download or Steam store page yet. For now, read the rules and try arranging ten tiles right here on the website.
